An intergovernmental support agreement (IGSA) signed by Naval Base Ventura County (NBVC) and the County of Ventura is expected to save government money, increase Navy operational efficiencies, and help ensure the long-term sustainability of the local Navy installation.
With the help of grant funding from the State of California and supporting feedback, we can continue to make our community not only better but safer for our residents.
With this year being the 11th driest snowpack on record since 1950 according to the state, and with the State Water Project announcing it will deliver only 20% of requested water supplies in 2020, projects like the Piru Stormwater Capture for Groundwater Recharge Project have been a critical piece to Ventura County’s important water supplies.
