PWA Celebrates America Recycles Day
Public Works Agency invites you to join us in recognizing America Recycles Day.
This national campaign organized by Keep America Beautiful and supported by U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA), government agencies, businesses, nonprofit organizations, and individuals across the country is an opportunity to take our good recycling habits to the next level by learning more about what can be recycled, reducing waste in our daily lives, and sharing information on how to do so with friends and family throughout the year.
Public Works will celebrate America Recycles Day Nov. 18-19 at the Hall of Administration building by hosting a collection event for gently used shoes, twin-size blankets, car seats, and prescription eyeglasses. General Services Agency will also be hosting a free drop-off event for electronic waste.
The Hall of Administration is located at 800 South Victoria Ave, Ventura 93009.
Take the America Recycles Day Pledge anytime during the month of November to be entered in a drawing for awesome prizes that will help you live more sustainably at home, work, or school!
