FREE Watershed Friendly Garden seminars and workshops in Meiners Oaks and Oak Park

Learn for FREE how to use watershed friendly approach in your garden. The five-part workshop series will be held on Saturdays September-October-November 2016, in Meiners Oaks and Oak Park. Discover how to design, mulch, grade and plant for the efficient use of rainwater and elimination of the long-term need for irrigation. You will be an expert water-conserving gardener in no time!

Flood Preparedness Awareness Week

Be sure to stop in at the Government Center during the week of October 24, 2016.
 
A proclamation will be presented at the Board of Supervisors meeting on October 18th.
 
We will have information on display all through the week of October 24th to show you how you can prepare for potential flooding at your home or property.
